Hello and Welcome! My name is Alicia Baskel and I am a mother, choreographer, writer, and fitness consultant living in sunny San Diego. I’ve worked as a personal trainer in La Jolla, CA for 15 years and in the fitness industry for over 20 years. My day job supported my passion as a dancer and choreographer, and in 2011 I received my MFA in Dance Theatre and started my performance company, Wallpaper Performance Co.

I’ve created this blog to support both myself and other mothers looking to maintain a sense of themselves amidst those little personalities who infiltrate everything that we once called “our lives”!
